About Chris
Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA-C) · he/him

I'm a Psychiatric Physician Assistant who believes mental health shapes every part of a person's life. My priority is building a trusting relationship where we can explore together whether medication is right for you, honoring your values and preferences every step of the way.
I take a whole-person approach. Our first evaluation looks at your mental, physical, social, and spiritual well-being, because all of these affect your overall health. I use motivational interviewing to help you find your own reasons for change and talk through any mixed feelings about treatment.
I believe in shared decision-making. I'll explain evidence-based options, including medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes, and we'll build a plan together that fits your needs, preferences, and goals. Along the way, I draw on compassion-focused and mindfulness-based (MBCT) approaches. I trained at Touro University Nevada and Utah Valley University.
